How the panels are cleaned
We use the same water-fed pole system as the windows: purified water pumped up a pole to a brush, with no detergents, solvents or abrasives. The brush lifts the dirt and the pure water rinses it away, drying clear without the mineral spotting that tap water leaves behind.
The poles reach roof-mounted arrays from the ground, so there are no ladders on most jobs and nobody walking across the panels.
This is a cleaning service only: panels are not installed, repaired, rewired or tested. If a panel looks cracked, loose or damaged while it is being cleaned, you will be told and sent a photo so you can contact your installer.

When it makes sense to book
Panels near trees, fields, a busy road or a lot of bird traffic collect dirt faster than panels on a clear, open roof. If the glass looks dull from the ground, or the panels sit under trees that drop sap and leaves, it is worth asking for a quote.
Booking solar panel cleaning with a window clean keeps it to one visit and one quote. If you only want the panels done, that is fine too.

Tell us about anything that affects access: a conservatory in the way, a carport, a steep drop at the edge of the garden or a locked side gate. It helps to know before the visit.
The rest of the outside

Panels on most pitched roofs can be cleaned from the ground. Arrays on very high, steep or hard-to-reach roofs may need a photo first, so send one with your quote request.
