Eco Wash Window Cleaning is a window cleaning service for homes across Kent, the South East and South London. The glass on the outside and the glass on the inside are both part of the job. This page explains how the exterior clean works, and what is involved when you want the inside done too.

Interior window cleaning

Window cleaning inside and out

Exterior and interior window cleaning are both core services, not one with the other as an extra. Book both together and the whole property is done in one visit, or ask for the outside only if that is all you need.

Inside, the work covers the glass you look through every day: living room and bedroom windows, kitchen panes, internal doors and the glazing in a porch or extension.

Interior windows are cleaned the traditional way, by hand, with a squeegee and cloths. The water-fed pole stays outside; indoors, sills and frames are wiped down as the glass is done.

Water-fed pole system

How the water-fed pole works

What a water-fed pole system is

A water-fed pole is a long, lightweight pole with a brush head at the top and a hose running up the inside. Purified water is pumped up the hose and through the brush while the brush loosens the dirt from the glass. The water then rinses the glass as the brush lifts away, and because the water is pure it dries without leaving the marks that tap water leaves behind.

The result is a clean that reaches first-floor and higher windows from the ground. There is no ladder against your wall, no one standing on your sills and no equipment carried through the house.

Purified water, not chemicals

The water is filtered before it reaches the brush, which removes the minerals and other solids that cause spotting and smears. That means we do not need detergent, solvents or additives on your windows. Nothing is left behind on the glass for children, pets or plants to come into contact with, and there is no chemical residue to wash off the frames or the path afterwards.

Why the finish is streak-free

Streaks usually come from two things: dirty water drying on the glass, or a cloth spreading grime around. Pure water removes the first problem, because there is nothing in the water to leave a mark. Working with a brush and a constant rinse removes the second, because dirt is carried away rather than buffed into the glass.

Frames, sills, seals and the glass are cleaned in the same pass. Clean glass above a grubby frame never looks right, so the whole window is treated rather than only the pane.

Reaching upper floors from the ground

The poles extend to reach upper floors safely from the ground, which is why the method suits two and three-storey houses, townhouses and homes with awkward access. It also means no ladder leaning against guttering or fascia, and no walking through the house to reach a back bedroom window.

No ladders on most jobs

Most properties can be cleaned entirely from the ground, so there is no ladder work at all. There will always be exceptions: a window set back behind an obstruction, an extension roof in the way, or a pane that cannot be reached at a safe angle. Mention anything hard to reach when you ask for a quote, so the work can be planned around it.

Your questions

Window cleaning FAQs

Which areas do you cover?

All of Kent, the South East and South London, including Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Maidstone, East Peckham, Lenham, West Malling, East Malling, Dartford, Orpington, Bromley, Croydon and Welling, plus the roads and villages between them. If you are not sure whether your postcode is covered, send it on WhatsApp.

How do you clean windows without ladders?

With a water-fed pole system. Pure water is pumped up a pole to a brush head, which loosens the dirt and rinses the glass. The poles reach upper floors from the ground, so there are no ladders on most jobs.

Do you use chemicals?

No. The water is purified before it reaches the brush, which removes the minerals that cause spotting and smears, so detergent and solvents are not needed. Nothing is left behind on the glass, frames or the ground below.

Are the results streak-free?

Yes. Pure water dries clear, and working with a brush and a constant rinse carries the dirt away instead of spreading it around. Frames and sills are cleaned in the same pass as the glass.

Do you clean interior windows?

Yes. Window cleaning covers both the outside and the inside of the glass, and both are core services rather than one being an optional extra. You can book them together or ask for one or the other. Interior windows are cleaned the traditional way, by hand.

How much does it cost?

Every property is different, so we quote for free. Send us a WhatsApp message with your postcode.

Are you insured?

Yes, Eco Wash Window Cleaning is fully insured.

When do you work?

Monday to Friday. We agree a day and time with you before the visit.

Do I need to be at home?

Not for outside cleaning, as long as the back of the house can be reached through a side gate or passage. For inside windows, someone will need to be home.

Can you clean conservatories, solar panels, gutters and fascia?

Yes. Conservatory cleaning, solar panel cleaning, gutter cleaning, and soffit and fascia cleaning are all available as add-ons for window cleaning customers. They are easiest to book alongside a window clean, when we are already at the property.

How often should windows be cleaned?

It depends on the property, the road and what is around it. Trees, fields, building work and bird traffic all make a difference. Say what you have noticed when you ask for a quote, and the interval can be part of that conversation.

How do I get a quote?

Message us on WhatsApp with your postcode and a rough idea of what you would like cleaned, inside, outside or both. The quote is free and there is no obligation, and you can ask about any of the add-on services in the same message.
