Window Cleaning in East Peckham

Oast houses, cottages and awkward windows

Oast conversions are lovely homes but they can be a challenge to clean. Windows are often set high in the kilns or the barn section, sometimes in curved walls, and the ground around them may be gravel, lawn or planted borders that a ladder will not sit on safely.

A water-fed pole solves most of that. We work from the ground, reaching upper-floor windows on most homes, and scrub the glass with purified water. Because that water has no minerals left in it, it dries clear and streak-free, with no chemicals running into your beds or onto the lawn.

Older cottages often have smaller panes, leaded lights or painted timber frames. Pure water is gentle on all of them, and the frames and sills get cleaned along with the glass.

What we can do for you

Windows are our main job, inside and out:

• Exterior window cleaning, including upper-floor windows reached from the ground
• Interior window cleaning, so the glass is clean on both sides

Rural homes often have more going on around the roofline. You can add:

• Gutter cleaning, especially useful with trees and hedges close by
• Soffit and fascia cleaning
• Conservatory cleaning, roof and glass
• Solar panel cleaning, which is handy if your panels are on an outbuilding or a low roof
